Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect rental vehicles to/from clients, hotels, airports, and other locations
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after handover (check for damages, fuel levels, cleanliness)
- Complete all required documentation accurately (delivery notes, inspection reports, mileage logs)
- Provide a professional handover to clients, explaining vehicle features where necessary
- Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and meet company standards before delivery
- Report any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues immediately
- Assist with vehicle movements
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and company policies
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
Minimum Requirements
- Valid South African driver’s licence (Code B or higher)
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Minimum 2–3 years’ driving experience (car hire or logistics environment preferred)
- Good knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas
- Clean driving record
- Basic administrative skills (ability to complete forms and reports accurately)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good time management
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (additional languages advantageous)
